Cubs finally get rid of Bradley

The Seattle Times reports that the Cubs have successfully dumped OF Milton Bradley on the Mariners.

Bradley and the $21 million and two years left on his contract with the Wee Bears will head to the Great Northwest in exchange for the $24 million over two years owed to pitcher Carlos Silva.

Silva was 1-3 with an 8.60 ERA in an injury-shortened 2009 with the Mariners. He was 4-15 the year before with a 6.46 ERA in Seattle.
