What's Brewing with Mulder

If former Cardinals starter Mark Mulder lands anywhere in 2010, it almost certainly will be with the Brewers, who are apparently trying to corner the market on former Cardinals hurlers.

Mulder would like to work with Milwaukee's new pitching coach who just happened to be his mentor during his most successful years in Oakland.

I guess teams are always looking for a bargain. But it is hard to believe Mulder has any bidders at all when he hasn't been healthy since the first half of 2005 and he has scarcely been ablt to make it on the field since the middle of 2006.

Mulder has never been an overpowering pitcher. He needs to get on top of the ball to make his breaking ball work. So, simply put, he needs his shoulder back in shape or he will never be successful again.
