Updated: Despite reports earlier today that talks between the Dodgers and Orlando Hudson broke down, the former Arizona second baseman has signed with Los Angeles, according to SiriusXM.
Hudson got $3.4 million in base pay and could make up to $4.6 million more in options.

The Dodgers had been rumored to have shifted their interest to former White Sox shortstop Orlando Cabrera who was willing to switch positions to second base.
So the pleas for the Cardinals to sign Hudson and stop the moving Skip Schumaker to second base project are officially moot.
... Unless the Cardinals like Cabrera better.
