P.J. Walters isn't pouting since his demotion to Class AAA Memphis.

The former Cardinals minor league pitcher of the year on Saturday tossed a complete game against the Reno Aces, allowing only one unearned run in a 6-1 victory. Walters struck out eight and allowed only three hits as he cruised to victory.

Walters had a 9.58 ERA in St. Louis, but in four starts with Memphis he is 2-1 with a 3.18 ERA .

On Saturday David Kopp Started for the Advanced Class A Palm Beach Cardinals and whiffed nine Charlotte hitters while allowing one walk and one earned run in a 2-1 Palm Beach victory. Kopp is 2-2 with a 2.88 ERA this season. Opponents are hitting .268 against him. Outfielder Shane Peterson was 3-for-5 in the game to raise his season batting average to .310.
