Reyes re-ups with tribe

Former Cardinals starter Anthony Reyes, who starred in the 2006 World Series but has otherwise had an unremarkable career, has re-signed with Cleveland.

Traded to the Indians in 2008, Reyes had been released following Tommy John surgery that cost him the entire 2010 campaign. According to, Reyes has agreed to a minor league contract. Terms were not disclosed.

Reyes is 13-26 over the course of his major league career with a 5.12 ERA. Cardinals fans may best remember him for his four-hit, two-run, eight-inning start in game one of the 2006 World Series at Detroit. Or... they may remember him for his 2-14 season with a 6.04 ERA in 2007.
