NLCS game four: Top of the fifth

Kyle Lohse got ahead on Nyjer Morgan but allowed him to lace a ball just inside the left field line for a leadoff double. As well as Lohse started, he seems to have really lost it. He's pitching tentatively and seems unable to put hitters away. Mark Kotsay grounded to second for the first out. But it was a productive one as Morgan moved over to third base. And that's it for Lohse. Manager Tony La Russa summoned Mitchell Boggs from the dugout, apparently looking for a strikeout. Boggs worked Braun to an 0-2 count... and then let him off the hook with an RBI single that put the Brewers ahead for the first time since game one. Ryan Theriot made his best play of the season to rob Prince Fielder of a hit and start a 4-6-3 double play to end the inning.

Brewers 3, Cardinals 2.
