NLCS Game four: Bottom of the fifth

Rafael Furcal had his longest at bat of the game so far to lead off the fifth, requiring seven pitches to ground out to third. Wolf went to work on Allen Craig with curve balls, getting a called first strike before throwing one past the St. Louis outfielder. He threw one for a ball low and then Craig fouled one off. Then Wolf switched gears and threw a fastball that appeared to be low and in that was called strike three. Albert Pujols hit a two-out single to bring up David Freese. The Cardinals third sacker got out in front of a hanging curve ball and hit a high hopper to short for the final out of the fifth.

Brewers 3, Cardinals 2.
