NLCS game four: Bottom of the sixth

Matt Holliday picked the Cardinals up off the floor with a leadoff double in the left centerfield gap. It's his third time in a row to reach base. Yadier Molina hacked at the first pitch and hit it right to the centerfielder. But Holliday took advantage of Nyger Morgan's rag arm and went to third. Ryan Theriot came to the plate with a chance to redeem himself for his run allowing error in the top of the inning. But he swung at a terribly high fastball to strike out without driving the runner home from third with less than two out. That brought the lefty hitting Jon Jay up against the southpaw Wolf yet again. Jay flied out to the hotdog Morgan who clapped his glove several times before catching the lazy fly.

Brewers 4, Cardinals 2.
