2011 World Series game two

Top of the first:

Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia came out firing bullets. He threw a first pitch strike to Ian Kensler and then broke the Rangers second baseman's bat with his second to retire him on a grounder to short. Elvis Andrus quickly made an out on a hard grounder to Pujols. Garcia went to a 3-1 count on Josh Hamilton before splintering his bat on a softly hit ball to third base for the final out. Rangers 0, Cardinals 0.
