Former Cardinals pitcher Bob Forsch has died

According to news reports, former Cardinals pitcher Bob Forsch has died. He collapsed at his Tampa, Fla. area home Thursday night.

Forsch, who would have turned 62 in January, attended game seven of the World Series last week and threw out the first pitch.

The only Cardinals pitcher to throw two no-hitters, Forsch pitched for the Redbirds from 1974-88 and was a member of three World Series competitors including the 1982 champions.
