The Cardinals roster will start to look a whole lot more like the one that was so successful the first six weeks of the season starting tomorrow.
Hopefully, the result will be the same as it was back then.
Jon Jay and Matt Carpenter who both served as early spark plugs are expected to be activated from the disabled list Friday.
He hit .429 in two games with Class AAA Memphis with a homer and a triple. But Jay was held out of Memphis' Thursday game against Omaha. Carpenter had three hits -- including a homer -- and three RBI Thursday for Class AA Springfield. He also had a pair of walks in the game.
