At least there is a little good news this morning.
Slugging first base prospect Matt Adams is expected to come off the disabled list today after battling elbow problems.
Adams, who has bone spurs in his throwing elbow that will require off-season surgery, hasn't played since June 18. He's batting .353 with 13 homers and 36 RBIs.

Although he was able to play through his elbow pain throughout the season, the Cardinals are hopeful that by giving Adams a break that it would come the irritation in his arm.
