The St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds aren't expected to get underway on time as it is raining in Cincinnati and the tarp is still on the field.
According to the Reds the game will be delayed at least an hour. But they're still hoping to get the contest in.
If the game is played:
Jon Jay will get his first start in centerfield Thursday for the Cardinals, replacing Peter Bourjos who is off to an awful start at the plate.

Bourjos is 0-for-6 with three strikeouts in the first two Redbirds games of the season. And during the Wednesday night game he seemed completely over-matched, flailing away wildly at pitches that he came nowhere close to hitting.
Of course, Borjous can't be blamed for all the Cardinals offense's problems. As a team St. Louis is batting .129 and the club has scored a grand total of one run -- on a solo homer by Yadier Molina that looked like a lazy pop-up until it settled into the left field seats at the Great American Ballpark.
Johnny Peralta and Matt Holliday also started each of the Birds' first two games and remain hitless.
The defense hasn't set the world on fire, either. Bourjos, Peralta, Matt Adams and Kolten Wong have all been charged with an error in the first two games of the season.
Lance Lynn is scheduled to start in the series finale at Cincinnati. He's 4-1 with a 4.04 ERA against the Reds in his career. He's 1-1 with a 5.87 ERA at the Great American Ballpark.
Reds starter Homer Bailey is 5-9 against the Cardinals with 4.74 ERA. He's 23-22 with a 4.74 ERA on his home field.
St. Louis heads to Pittsburgh Friday for a three-game set with the Pirates before returning to Busch Stadium for their home opener Monday.
Shelby Miller, fresh after being held out of the 2013 World Series, will start the first game of the Pirates series for St. Louis. Gerrit Cole will start for the Bucs.
