Things to do on Tuesday: ‘Buddy’ at The Muny, a truck pull and cribbage
THE MUNY: Looking for someplace fun to take Peggy Sue tonight? She probably would get a kick out of “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” at 8:15 p.m. at The Muny outdoor theater in Forest Park. “Buddy” features the songs of the American rock ’n’ roll that you have loved for decades: “That’ll Be The Day,” “Why Do Fools Fall in Love?” “Peggy Sue” and “Johnny B. Goode!” The show runs through Sunday.
CLINTON COUNTY FAIR: Tonight’s arena highlight is a truck pull at 7 at the fairgrounds in Carlyle. Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for 6 to 12; free younger than 6. A pit pass is $20. Rides, livestock, games and exhibits are all part of the action.
CRIBBAGE: OK, so you don’t know how to play cribbage or you thought it was something you made slaw out of. It’s not to late to learn about the crib, pegging, runs, the show and maybe even muggins. A cribbage group meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Camelot Bowl, 801 Beltline Road in Collinsville. New players are always welcome. For information, call Yvonne at 618-344-1521.
