Bunnie Xo reveals her next life move after Jelly Roll divorce
Bunnie Xo is revealing her next move amid her divorce.
The "Dumb Blonde" podcaster (real name Alisa DeFord) took to her Instagram Stories on July 3, sharing a screenshot of her acceptance letter from Arizona State University and writing, "Dr. Xo, loading?" according to E! News, TMZ and Page Six. Bunnie did not share any more information on what she would be studying.
USA TODAY has reached out to Bunnie's representative for details.
The step comes months after her country star ex, Jelly Roll, filed for divorce, which TMZ surfaced a month later on June 15. A divorce filing obtained by the USA TODAY Network noted the couple separated on May 9.
Bunnie, 46, has been in good spirits since news of the split broke. On Sunday, July 5, she posted a video of her getting dressed in front of a mirror while listening to Eminem's "Superman," before turning around and rapping the line, "Got no ring on this finger now!"
And in a clip from an episode of her "Dumb Blonde" podcast, Bunnie Xo quipped that she just got out of a "10-year bid," referring to her marriage with the "I Am Not Okay" rapper, 41.
But she also praised the relationship, saying on a June 18 episode, days after the divorce was publicized: "There will never be another 'Jelly and Bunnie.' What we built together as a team, the reason we are who we are, is because of our love story."
And she revealed that they are carrying on with plans to expand their family through in vitro fertilization.
"We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered," she said. "We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."
She added: "Being happy and healthy and best friends through this is probably the biggest gift that we could have given each other."
