Things to do Thursday: Farmer’s market, the musical ‘Chicago’ and a country western dance

“CHICAGO”: Curtain’s Up Theater Company presents the musical “Chicago” with all the dancing and songs from the long-running Broadway show at 7:30 Thursday through Saturday, with a Sunday show at 2 p.m., in Katherine Dunham Hall at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Tickets are $15 at www.curtainsuptheater.com, the Edwardsville Library and Ashman’s Pharmacy in Collinsville.

COUNTRY WESTERN DANCE: The Country Western Band will play for a dance from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Collinsville Senior Center, 420 E. Main St., Collinsville. Lunch is available. Reservations: 618-344-7787.

FARMER’S MARKET: Locally grown crops (watermelon, tomatoes, corn), baked goods, eggs and crafts are available at Swansea Farmer’s Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday in the Rural King parking lot, 2801 N. Illinois St. in Swansea. Brats and hot dogs available for purchase.
