Things to do Thursday: Diva Night and barbecue

DIVA NIGHT: Sign up for Thursday’s Diva Night at Eye at 5 p.m. on Design, 309 East Main St. in Belleville, and get your diva gear and a passport to guide your evening. Stop at seven businesses on the ladies night out and get your passport stamped for a chance to win a prize. Thursday’s highlight is a scavenger hunt. The after-party and grand prize drawing is at 8 p.m. at Big Daddy’s 618, 313 East Main St. The cost is $5.

GRANGE BARBECUE: Let Turkey Hill Grange do the cooking Thursday and pick up some barbecue and homemade sides from 4 to 7 p.m. at the grange at the intersection of Illinois 15 and Greenmount Road. The menu includes pork steaks, brats, potato salad, baked beans, slaw, chunky applesauce, four-bean salad, brownies, cobler, pie and cake. Carryouts are available.
