Things to do Tuesday: Family night at shrine; fun in downtown Belleville

WAY OF LIGHTS: Tuesday is a good night to visit the Way of Lights at the National Shine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, to avoid large crowds and enjoy discounts on activities such as camel rides. Your family can experience the lights aboard a horse-drawn wagon with rides every half-hour from 5:30 to 9 p.m.; for prices and availability call Brookdale Farms at 636-549-4610. NewPuppet Shows are at 5, 6, 7 and 8 p.m.; 30-minute performances with photo opportunities after. Family Night Discounts: kettle corn 50 cents off any size; $1 off camel rides; $2 off adult and child tickets to the Lego display; buy one carrot, get one free to feed the animals. As always, the Way of Lights, the Christmas Tree Room,

wreath and Lego play area and puppet show are free.

SANTA VISIT: Santa will be on the Public Square in Belleville from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

CHRISTKINDLMARKT: Belleville’s open-air holiday market with gift ideas from around the world is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday on the Public Square.
