What qualifies you for this position?

“I currently serve as student trustee at Southwestern Illinois College. In this position I represent more than 13,000 students on the Board of Trustees. I feel that this position has given me valuable experience on how to represent people on a board or council. I have also lived in Granite City my whole life and I know the problems facing it very well.”

What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?

“I feel that the top issue is being more commutative to the people you are representing. If I’m elected I will keep in contact with my constituents and make sure that they know what is happening in Granite City. I feel the most important thing is people feel they have a voice in local politics. My main mission is to make sure that happens.”
