Things to do Monday: Owl talk, Really big screen

OWL EXPERT: Mark H.X. Glenshaw, an award-winning, amateur naturalist, will speak on “Forest Park Owls: Hiding in Plain Sight” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Belleville Public Library, 121 E. Washington St. in Belleville. He has closely observed and documented the lives of a mated pair of Great Horned Owls in St. Louis’ Forest Park since December 2005. His talk will cover how he found these owls, basic facts about the species and behaviors he has been able to see and document with photos and videos.

OMNIMAX MOVIES: Four movies are showing Monday at the Omnimax Theater in the St. Louis Science Center, 5050 Oakland Ave. in St. Louis. “Robots” is at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; “Journey to Space” is at noon and 3 p.m.; “Humpback Whales” is at 11 a.m.; and “Jerusalem” is at 2 and 4 p.m. Tickets are $9; $8 for children seniors and college students; $6 for military.
