Things to do Tuesday: Hoop and holiday events

PREP HOOPS: When is the last time you took in a local high school basketball game? There will be lots of action when Edwardsville clashes with Belleville East at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at East. Belleville West is at Granite City at 7:30 p.m. On the girls’ side, Belleville East is at Edwardsville and Granite Ciy is at Belleville West, both at 7:30 p.m.

WINTER WONDERLAND: Check out the thousands of lights, animated musical display, life-size nativity, Victorian village and more at Lebanon’s big light show Tuesday through Dec. 31 at Horner Park.

CHRISTKINDLMARKT: Belleville’s German market on the Square is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Thirty vendors are selling treasures from around the world. While you’re there, take the kids to see Santa at his house on the Square from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
