Things to do Tuesday: $2 movie and reading with dogs

2-BUCK MOVIE: You can see the Alfred Hitchcock romantic suspense thriller “Vertigo,” starring James Stewart and Kim Novak, at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Wildey Theatre, 252 North Main St., Edwardsville. Tickets are $2, available an hour before showtime at the box office.

READING WITH DOGS: Children in kindergarten through eighth grade can practice reading with a dog from CHAMP Assistance Dogs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Six Mile Regional Library District, 2145 Johnson Road in Granite City. It’s part of a program calleed Tales for Tails.
