Things to do Tuesday: $2 movies; ‘Star Wars’ on giant screen
WILDEY DOUBLEHEADER: The Wildey Theater in Edwardsville will show two $2 movies Tuesday. The animated film “Ratatouille” is at 2 p.m. “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” starring Ethel Merman, Donald O’Connor and Marilyn Monroe, is at 7 p.m. Tickets are available an hour before showtime.
OMNIMAX OFFERINGS: For the ultimate “Star Wars” experience, check out “The Force Awakens” on the giant Omnimax screen at the St. Louis Science Center, 5050 Oakland Ave. in St. Louis. Showings are at 1, 3:30, 6 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets (parking included) are $15.50 for adults; $13.50 children, seniors, college and military. Matinees are $12 and $10. Also showing are “Jerusalem” at 10 a.m., “Robots: at 11 a.m. and “Born to Be Wild” at noon. Tickets are $10 adults, $9 seniors, children, college, $7 military.
