Things to do Monday: All-you-can-eat chili, orchid show

CHILI CHOWDOWN: Main Street United Methodist Church will serve all-you-can-eat chili, beverage and dessert for $8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at 1400 Main St. in Alton. Diners may eat in or carry out.

ORCHID SHOW: The annual Orchid Show is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd. in St. Louis. It runs daily through March 27. Admission is $13 to the Garden and Orchid Show; $5 children 3-12. Information: 314-577-5100.
