Dave the Orange Cat is 'Bewitched' By a Surprising Object Outside, and We Can't Stop Laughing
Dave, the orange cat, has a new obsession, and the internet is officially locked in.
In a TikTok posted by Dave's mom, she revealed that, in "devastatingly predictable news," the orange-and-white cat has officially found a new "obsession, or possibly a fear," and is now hyperfixated on it outside his house.

His mom confirmed that Dave is now obsessed with the "humidity dome" that rolled around outside and noted that it is "monopolizing most of his waking hours."
His mom shared several clips of Dave, keeping all his attention on this small plastic dome that rolled around outside. He even sat with his siblings at one point, completely captured by the dome, while they watched Dave stare intently at it.
"Now, you may think a humidity dome is just a useful tool for creating ideal conditions for seed germination, but to Dave, it is far more than that," his mom said in the video's narration. "In fact, this humidity dome is quite possibly the single most magical, or most terrifying... thing that Dave has seen since the ceiling fan."
Dave's mom couldn't tell if he was "fearing for his life," but she knew that he was absolutely "bewitched" by the small dome.
She also confirmed that "Dave's interest shows no sign of abating," despite several days having already passed. However, despite his keen interest in the dome, Dave's mom hesitated to "facilitate an [in-person] introduction to the humidity dome" because of "previous situationship" experience.

The internet was also locked into Dave's new obsession, with one person commenting that the real reason he's so captivated by the dome is that "Dave hates littering."
Others loved Dave's whimsical attitude towards life, with another writing, "His brain is made out of clouds, but it's a sunny day."
"Dave is like a magpie," one user explained in the comments. "He loves reflective and shiny things."
Both others defended Dave's obsession, writing that "I don't know what a humidity dome is, too, Dave, your confusion is mutual ."
