Netflix Ending One of Its Most-Watched Shows After Season 3

Netflix, which has more than 200 million monthly users, creates over 700 original titles for its customers.

Not every show can be a hit, leading to the series' cancellation. So far this year, Netflix has already canceled 12 shows and announced that five others are coming to an end in 2026.

Here is a list of the canceled shows:

  • The Abandons
  • Terminator Zero
  • The Vince Staples Show
  • Pop The Balloon LIVE
  • Selling the City
  • With Love, Meghan
  • Alice In Borderland
  • Class
  • Miss Governor
  • Strip Law
  • What's in the Box?
  • F1: The Academy

Now Netflix is ending another beloved series.

Netflix Ending 'Roosters' After Season 3

Earlier this week Netflix announced Roosters has already started production on Season 3 after the first two seasons dominated Netlfix's top 10.

The first season of the show held the number one position for several consecutive weeks, while the second season remained in the Top 10 for more than five weeks to date.

"In this third and final season, we once again follow the tight-knit friend group as they try to figure out life in the modern world. Will everything work out in the end?" Netflix said.

Alongside the returning cast, a number of new cast members are joining this season, including Anna Drijver, Jade Olieberg, Nazmiye Oral, Peggy Vrijens, Ricky Koole, Lykele Muus and Aimé Claeys. The third season of Roosters is expected to debut on Netflix in 2027.

"In the third season of Roosters, Mike, Danny, Ivo and Greg get the feeling that the roles have been reversed. Where the men are looking for love and connection, the women are the ones setting the rules," the tagline for the third season reads.
