Kwanzaa Celebration is Wednesday in East St. Louis

The 7th annual East St. Louis Kwanzaa Celebration will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center, 630 N. 59th St. It will feature poetry, songs, music, dance, an open mike and the Kwanzaa candlelighting ritual. It’s free to the public; $35 for a vendor table. The event is presented by The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center and The Eugene B. Redmond Writers Club. Proceed will benefit programing a the center.
