Fast-food restaurant in Belleville reopens in a new building at its old spot
McDonald’s at 906 Carlyle Ave. in Belleville recently reopened in its brand new building.
“The store is doing what it calls a ‘soft opening,’” according to Terry Knoth of Estel Foods, Inc. A grand opening event is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14.
The restaurant across from Belleville East closed in March and the building was demolished to make way for a new facility.
The restaurant has some new features, including a double drive-thru.
Customers can also place orders and receive deals via a mobile app. Delivery is available as well.
The original restaurant was built in 1979. A major renovation was done in 2001. Demolition to make way for the new building began in March.
