Millstadt area gets two more new restaurants. Here’s an update on their status

Sunrise Pancake House, a breakfast and lunch place, opened in June, joining the lineup of restaurants and pubs on Millstadt’s Washington Street.

Sunrise Pancake House is at 458 E. Washington St.

The family-owned and operated diner serves up a menu with a variety of breakfast and lunch options.

The menu includes pancakes, French toast, a lengthy list of omelette options, breakfast skillets, salads, burgers and homestyle cooking that includes chicken fried steak, pork chops, liver and onions and more. Most prices range from $5.99 to $8.99 per entree.

Sunrise Pancake House joined a lineup of eateries and pubs along Millstadt’s main drag, including Ott’s Tavern/Millstadt Fish Stand, Smokin’ K’s BBQ & More, Spike’s Public House, Millpond Brewing & Incubator, Papa Vito’s Pizza, Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina and more.

Another Millstadt-area restaurant, Tito’s Fresh Mex & Cantina, is hiring employees as it prepares for its grand opening. The restaurant will be in the former Farmers Inn at 7157 IL-158.
