Update: Here’s who is leading the southwest IL restaurant poll. You can still vote today

The BND poll asking you about your favorite new restaurant has been so popular that we’ve decided to extend the voting deadline by one more day. And this time we really mean it.

We posted the poll last week, based on the list of new restaurants compiled by columnist Jennifer Green.

There’s been quite a bit of voting the past couple of days. Here are the leaders as of Tuesday night: 1st place, The Quarter Restaurant; 2nd place, Joe & Onie’s; third place, Bennie’s Pizza Pub and fourth place, Golden Oak Pancake House.

If you want to join in the fun, you can still vote Wednesday. And remember, this really is just for fun. It’s not scientific. You can vote as many times as you want for your favorite place.
