Breaking news image

Wasabi Sushi Bar in Fairview Heights will close after service Saturday, Jan. 15.

A Jan. 10 post on the location’s Facebook page made the announcement, adding that they will relocate to O’Fallon. Plans are to reopen at the new location in March.

O’Fallon Community Development Director Justin Randall said that the new location will be in the Shops at Richland Creek at 1124 Merchants Way, Suite 220.

Reasons for the move were not immediately available. A message was left for management at the Fairview Heights sushi restaurant.
