Popular Belleville brewery taproom is reopening, with ‘new beers and some old favorites’
Let there be beer! (or as some may call it – the nectar of the gods)
A Facebook post this week from 4204 Main Street Brewing Company announced that the Taproom at 6435 W. Main in Belleville reopens Friday, Feb. 25.
“We’re excited to see everyone, and we have some new beers and some old favorites to celebrate,” stated the post.
I’m reaching out to the brewing company’s management now for more details.
After the reopening event, the Taproom will be open 5-10 p.m. Fridays and 2-10 p.m. Saturdays, the post states.
Saturdays will also see the return of the Growler Hour – half-price on all growler fills – 2-3 p.m.
The post also states that the Taproom is currently hiring bartenders.
Located at 6435 W. Main St. in Belleville, 4204 Main Street Brewing Company announced in July that the brewery and canning facility would be put up for sale.
At that time, the banquet center at the same location and the restaurant at 4204 W. Main St. would remain open.
Brewing was to resume in August with original equipment inside the restaurant.
In September, the company announced the closing of the restaurant, citing issues with staffing.
A decision was made at that time to reopen the distribution brewery.
In October, a Facebook page for Belleville Beverage, sister company to 4204 Main Street Brewing Company, was created.
Belleville Beverage handles contract brewing and the co-packaging and canning of beer and other liquid products, according to the social media site.
The newer company is also located at 6435 W. Main St. in Belleville.
