Weather causes construction delays for Eckert’s Belleville expansion. Opening rescheduled
Plans to open the new music venue and outdoor dining pavilion at Eckert’s Belleville Farm over Memorial Day weekend have been thwarted by Mother Nature.
According to Eckert’s Inc. President Chris Eckert, the opening “will be pushed a little later as weather has delayed our construction.”
Eckert also stated that a ribbon cutting with the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, and the first concert at the new venue is scheduled for Friday, June 10.
The entertainment schedule for the new venue is building up, according to Eckert’s Marketing Director Amanda Morgan.
Morgan stated that they are excited to welcome Matt Stell as the premiere act on June 10.
Eckert’s online events calendar shows that Pokey Lafarge is scheduled to perform Friday, June 17.

The expansion of Eckert’s Belleville Farm includes the addition of an outdoor dining pavilion and music venue, the new Cider House, a new location for the custard and donut shop and a new restroom building.
In a November phone interview, Eckert said the new venue will provide a more comfortable environment for guests during live concerts and other kinds of entertainment, attractions and activities.
The Cider Shed is being renovated to take over the space where the custard shop was located.
The cooking classroom inside the Country Store is being remodeled to accommodate the relocated custard shop and will also hold the cider donut facility.
Eckert’s, along with Holland Construction Services and the Belleville Chamber, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion in February.
Eckert’s Belleville Farm is located at 951 S. Green Mount Road. For additional information about this and other Eckert’s locations, call 800-745-0513 or visit eckerts.com.
