Granite City coffee shop, restaurant expands, with a new menu coming soon
A Madison County coffee shop celebrates a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony this week.
Manhattan’s Coffee & Socialhouse, located at 3361 Fehling Road, Unit 6, in Granite City, will host the event at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
The business came under the ownership of Brian Fine of Granite City in September, according to the business’ website.
Manhattan’s has a new and expanded event space and lounge area available for private parties, events and meetings.
There is also a new gaming parlor with six new video gaming machines.
Fine stated in a brief phone interview that the new addition was completed two weeks ago and is about 1,200 square feet, doubling the size of the business.
The business partnered exclusively with Cooking with Chef Jon and Jerry’s Cafeteria for catering services.
Manhattan’s Coffee & Socialhouse offers coffee and cocktails, pastries, muffins, bagels, as well as appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, soups and salads.
You can get biscuits & gravy all day, every day.
Chef Jon is part of Jerry’s Cafeteria and provides some of the food options available at Manhattan’s, including their whiskey cheese soup.
Fine said the menu is being revamped and will include more healthy items for spring and summer.
He said the menu should be ready later this week.
Manhattan’s Coffee & Socialhouse is located at 3361 Fehling Road, Unit 6, in Granite City.
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
