Former Silver Creek Saloon & Grill sets opening schedule. Owners reinvent business
Since Belleville’s Silver Creek Saloon & Grill closed in June, owners Ryan Loeffler, Jon Vieluf and Jeff Butzinger have worked hard to reinvent the business they couldn’t walk away from.
This week, Silver Creek Sports & Social, as well as Cougar Creek Patio & Rec, finally opens to the public.
Loeffler said in a brief phone call that the revamped business opens to the public Thursday, Nov. 9.
Starting at 7 p.m., folks will be welcomed back to 2520 Mascoutah Ave. to enjoy food and beverages, either indoors with the new flatscreen TVs, or outdoors on the patio (while the good weather lasts).
A DJ will play music Thursday from 9 p.m. to close, and Loeffler said they already have a band booked for Saturday night.
A post on the Silver Creek Sports & Social page shows that The Jason Nelson Band will perform.
Loeffler said that Thursday night’s St. Louis Blues game will be shown on the establishment’s new big screen TVs.
He also mentioned that a new drinks menu will be available.
SIlver Creek Sports & Social is located at 2520 Mascoutah Ave. in Belleville.
The Facebook page shows that it will be open until 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 11-12.
