A new restaurant will soon open at O’Fallon’s former O’Town site.

Yummy Bowl (1214 Central Park Drive) is finishing work at the restaurant in preparation for its opening, according to city documents. An opening date is not yet available.

A call to O’Fallon Community Development Director Greg Anderson was not immediately returned.

The Asian eatery combines fare and flavors from China, Korea and Japan. Yummy Bowl will offer fresh sushi, Japanese ramen, Korean fried chicken and Mongolian stir-fry, in which customers can build their own bowls with a personalized selection of proteins, vegetables and sauces.

Menu options may vary by location, according to the Yummy Bowl website. The O’Fallon location’s menu is not yet available. However, menus for restaurants in the Chicago and Indianapolis areas include a varied selection of sushi rolls, appetizers, ramen and even desserts.

A restaurant with a similar concept, Tasty Bowl Stirfry & Sushi, opened in Fairview Heights last month. The two restaurants are not affiliated with one another.

Yummy Bowl is not to be confused with Yummy Rice Bowls, which opened in November 2022. This restaurant is located at 204 Scott-Troy Road, Suite A, in O’Fallon and offers a different menu that includes poke bowls.
