Cheesy Skyline Chili on pizza? You can try it at metro-east pizzerias
Dewey’s Pizza is currently celebrating both National Pizza Month and National Chili Month by collaborating with another Cincinnati, Ohio-based restaurant chain, Skyline Chili.
The Skyline Dip Deluxe pizza launched last week and is available for a limited time at all St. Louis-area Dewey’s Pizza locations, including O’Fallon and Edwardsville.
This particular pie “blends Skyline’s signature chili and cheese into a creamy, shareable dip,” according to a release from Dewey’s Pizza, which “has transformed that dip into pizza form, offering a new way to experience Skyline’s legendary flavor.”
“At Dewey’s, we pride ourselves on an elevated approach to pizza that surprises and delights,” Stephanie McCall, director of marketing at Dewey’s Pizza, stated in the release. “The Skyline Dip Deluxe pizza is one of those flavor combinations that sounds unexpected but works perfectly. It’s a big collaboration that we’re excited to share with new markets.”
The pizza is built on Dewey’s hand-tossed crust, loaded with a smooth cream cheese base, layered with Skyline Chili, mozzarella and mild cheddar. It’s then topped with red beans, diced white onions and after baking is finished off with a drizzle of sour cream, fresh tomatoes and green onions.
Add jalapeños for additional heat. Each Skyline Dip Deluxe comes with Skyline’s hot sauce on the side.
This limited-time pizza offering is available through Monday, Oct. 20.
