Lay's is bringing the flavors of the world to the chip aisle in honor of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Joining the bandwagon of other brands gearing up for the international soccer tournament, which so far includes Nestlé Toll House, Pillsbury, and Monopoly (to name a few big ones), the popular snack brand revealed on Tuesday that it will be launching two all-new flavors and bringing back a globally-inspired fan-favorite here in the United States, with more options dropping across the world.

According to an official statement shared in an email with Parade, Lay's FIFA World Cup collection includes 40 chip flavors that will be available across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The snack giant said each flavor is inspired by the "iconic cuisines" of nations competing in this year's FIFA World Cup, and a select series will be introduced to each market.

  • Lay's Argentinian‑Style Steak with Chimichurri – Rich steak meets a blend of cilantro, lemon, basil, bay, thyme, oregano, parsley and garlic for bold flavor.
  • Lay's Brazilian‑Style Garlic Sauce – Blended with buttery garlic, this flavor brings together Swiss and cheddar cheese with a lemon tangy kick for a savory finish inspired by Brazil's love for bold, layered tastes.
  • Lay's Wavy French Onion Soup – Featuring a rich, aged cheddar cheese and fine herbs, this flavor offers a creamy, savory taste paired with a perfectly golden, crispy crunch.

The limited-edition flavors appear to already be a hit, despite not being on shelves yet, as one fan gushed on Instagram that "These sound amazing 😍😍😍."

"I Am Never Gonna Financially Recover From This," a second joked.

"If they made like small snack bag sizes of ALL of these flavors, I'd totally buy them," another added, explaining that they mean "not just the ones they're going to release in the US," but a variety pack of snack-sized bags of the global flavors (a bright idea, if you ask us).

"All sound so so good🔥," one more applauded.

Where Will the Limited-Edition Chips Be Sold?

Lay's FIFA World Cup flavor collection is expected to begin rolling out globally next month. The trio set to emerge in the U.S. market will be available at retailers nationwide and online via the TikTok Shop (prices vary) so fans everywhere can experience a global "flavor journey" for a limited time this season.
