Helping Others

Big Brothers Big Sister

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois provides one-to-one mentoring services to more than 600 youth facing adversity in St. Clair, Madison, Clinton and Monroe counties.

How to help

Male volunteers are needed to be a Big Brother to one of the 89 boys waiting for a mentor. Volunteers spend 10-12 hours a month with a youth. Some of the Little Brothers have been waiting for more than two years for Big Brother. Monetary contributions are welcomed and will be used to help recruit, screen, train and match Big Brothers with waiting youth.
