The Collinsville Food Pantry

The Collinsville Food Pantry of the Collinsville Area Ministerial Association provides food assistance to Collinsville residents who qualify. Residents may visit the pantry and receive assistance twice a month. There also are special services during the holidays and emergency food boxes in crisis situations. The food pantry even has a “Tote-me-Home” program to help selected students in Collinsville Unit School District 10 by providing them with food every weekend to take home.

How to help

People may volunteer in many capacities such as a registration clerk, with mailings, helping clients, helping clean up, or picking up food, among other opportunities. People can also donate food and items such as pancake mix, pancake syrup, Hamburger Helper, cereal, Sauerkraut, oatmeal, tuna, baked beans, sloppy joe mix, canned fruit, saltine crackers, Jell-O mix, toilet paper, soup, toothbrushes/toothpaste, bar soap, canned spaghetti sauce, ramen noodles, shampoo, gallon freezer bags and pudding mix. People may also donate money through the food pantry’s website.
