Blessed to Give: The Community Care Center

The Community Care Center in Granite City helps low-income working families, seniors and families in crisis due to emergencies. It runs a food pantry, soup kitchen, provides back-to-school shopping trips for about 125 children, and provides free clothing for those in need. The organization also is scheduled to have its Christmas meal from 11 a.m. to noon Dec. 22.

How to help

People can make monetary contributions or donate non-perishable food, coats, blankets, clothes, household items or toys.
