Blessed to Give: Riverbend Head Start and Family Services

Riverbend Head Start and Family Services is a nonprofit agency that provides children who live in poverty, have a disability, or are involved with the Department of Children and Family Services with early childhood education through Head Start or Early Head Start programs. Programs are open to families in Madison County.

Riverbend has centers in Collinsville, Alton, Edwardsville, Bethalto and Granite City.

How to help

People can volunteer by serving on the board, in classrooms by providing childcare during parent group meetings, by organizing drives to collect school supplies, books, diapers or toiletries, or by organizing fundraisers, among other things. People also may donate through Riverbend’s website.
