Summer camp for needy children seeks volunteers

The Collinsville-based Homework, Help and Hoops Summer Camp Feeding Program needs volunteers and donations to run its free lunch and summer activity program for local children from noon to 2 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 5-July 27 at St. John Evangelical United Church of Christ, 307 W. Clay, Collinsville. The program needs about 100 adult and youth volunteers aged 16 and older. Background checks are required but will be paid for by the group.
