Shiloh United Methodist Church 210th anniversary celebration

In honor of Shiloh United Methodist Church’s 210th anniversary, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony, concert and refreshments at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at 210 S. Main St., Shiloh. According to a press release from the church, it is the oldest Methodist Church in Illinois, older than the state of Illinois itself and sliced bread. The public is invited to this event.

Calvary Chapel barbecue and open house

The Calvary Chapel of St. Clair County will have a Labor Day barbecue and open house from noon-2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, at 215 S. Jackson, Belleville. Information: 618-806-3788.
