Collinsville High School reunions

The 60th class reunion of the 1957 class of Collinsville High School will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10th, at Villa Marie Winery, Maryville.

The Collinsville High School class of 1962’s 55th reunion will be on Sept 29-30. There will be an evening mixer Friday, Sept. 29, at Zapata’s in Collinsville. Dinner will be Saturday, Sept. 30, at Knights of Columbus Hall, Highway 157, Collinsville. Reservations are needed. Homeless Coalition of St. Clair County

The Homeless Coalition of St. Clair County will have a community meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 16, at 402 E. Main St., Belleville. All are welcome. The meeting will present updates about what is happening in Belleville and St. Clair County and provide opportunities to help homeless people. Information: Jesse Arms, 618-719-1154.

Belleville Metro-east Christian Women’s Club

The Christian Women’s Club will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Bellecourt Place, 120 N. Jackson St., Belleville. The program will be: “Quilting 101.” Speaker Linda Sill will share, “Who is your best friend?” Reservations cost $13 and are due by Monday, Sept. 11. Reservations: Sue Hammel, 618-398-0772.

Belleville Gear Jammers

The Belleville Gear Jammers will have a car show and cruise Sunday, Sept. 10, at Crehan’s Irish Pub, 5500 N. Belt West, Belleville. The car show will be at 9 a.m. and the cruise will be at 4 p.m. There is free admission and no judging. This event features dash plaques and driver prizes. No outside food or drink is allowed. Everyone is welcome.

Madison County Genealogical Society

The next meeting of the Genealogical Society will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Edwardsville Public Library, 112 S. Kansas St. Melora Sackett Becker will present: “My Parents’ Western Experience in 1928-1929.” Guests are always welcome.

St. Clair County Funeral Directors Association Meeting

The next meeting of the Funeral Directors Association will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Banquet Center of the Main Street Brewing Co. 4204, 6435 W. Main St., Belleville. Rick Rork of Pierce Chemical Company will present, “Embalming Drug Related Cases.” Attendees will receive 2 hours of embalming CE for the program. The cost is $40 per person with CEU, $30 per person without CEU and $50 for non-members receiving CEUs. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow. Dandy Dancers

The Dandy Dancers will have an introduction to Modern Western Square Dancing from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at the Caseyville Township Senior Center, 10001 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights. PSOP Book Club

The next meeting of the PSOP Book Club is at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the PSOP, 201 N. Church St., Belleville. The book title is: “There Your Heart Lies” by Mary Gordon. Rose Range will lead the discussion.

Addiction Loss Support Group

The Heartlinks Grief Center of Family Hospice hosts its monthly grief support group for parents and adult siblings grieving the death of a child or sibling due to addiction from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Family Hospice office, 5110 W. Main St., Belleville. Information: 618-277-1800.

National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1019

The next meeting of NARFE will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Golden Corral, 3360 Green Mount Crossing Road, Shiloh. The buffet opens at 11 a.m. and the meeting begins at noon.
