▪ Living History Saturday — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. History comes alive in historic Ste. Genevieve on Saturdays. Enjoy “Hands-On History” presentations, demonstrations, music and craft activities at historic sites. Take a free walking tour or join a Ranger Talk and learn about fascinating aspects of historic Ste. Genevieve. Visitors might be able to try throwing a tomahawk, learn how to make moccasins, watch yarn being spun, or learn how filigree is made. Activities vary weekly. ▪ River-to-River Trail Society Hike: Twin Towers Area of Gallatin and Hardin Counties — 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. Meet at the Knights of the Golden Circle parking lot, east of Forest Road, ¾ mile north of entrance to Garden of the Gods. This hike is intended for people in good health who have done some hiking. The descent to the floor of Jackson Hollow can be rugged and tricky, so hiking sticks and boots or sturdy shoes are strongly recommended. ▪ Night of the Werewolf — 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. The Bolduc House, 198 Market St., Ste. Genevieve. Meet up at the Centre for French Colonial Life to help the Ste. Genevieve Militia patrol for werewolves, loosed upon our village. While on site, take a candle-lit tour of the Bolduc House.
