Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. ▪ River-to-River Trail Society Hike: Fink Sandstone Barrens in Johnson County — 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2. Meet at East Trigg Trailhead, on Trigg Tower Road, about one mile north of Trigg observation tower and three miles northeast of Simpson, Illinois. Society President Bill Gilmour will lead a challenging hike of about five and one-half miles, mostly off-trail. This hike is free and open to the public. Hikes are intended for people in good health who have done some hiking in the past. Hiking sticks and boots or sturdy shoes are strongly recommended.
