Bath & Body Works opens in Belleville. Plus, retail and restaurant news
The new Bath & Body Works store at Belleville Crossing opens this week.
Signage at 5731 Belleville Crossing St. states that the store will open Friday. A recording on the store’s phone answering system specifies a 10 a.m. opening.
The “off-mall” store is one of many such locations opening to offset mall closures. From 2022 through 2024, Bath & Body Works opened around 300 off-mall stores as more than 150 mall locations closed, according to the company’s quarterly reports from that time frame.
Hours posted online for the Belleville Crossing store are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. For more info, call 618-744-3197.
Bath & Body Works is one of several new businesses at Belleville Crossing. A recent opening includes a new Verizon store at 5630 Belleville Crossing St. Other developments include the addition of a Ross Dress For Less at the former Office Max and Velora Beauty, which is taking up the three storefronts between Target and The Home Depot.
The business, known as Images Beauty Supply at its current location, is moving from 5720 N. Belt West, Suite 26, to 5541 Belleville Crossing St. and is slated to open late this month. The business’ Facebook page posted grand opening celebration events for Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.
Also coming to Belleville Crossing is Mi Nail, an additional location for the Mi Nail Lounge at 1333 Central Park Drive in O’Fallon. The salon’s nail services include pedicures and manicures, acrylic nails, gel polishes, dipping powders, waxing, lash services and adult beverages for those 21 or older. There’s even a kids’ menu with pedicures and polish changes.
The new salon site is located between Bath & Body Works and Hibbett Sports. Construction will be finished by Missouri-based Carrigan Construction, which shared renderings of the salon on its social media. The layout is similar to that at the O’Fallon location.
Hours at the O’Fallon location are 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Call 618-628-8028 or visit facebook.com/MiNAILLOUNGE to learn more.
More about the developments at Belleville Crossing will be reported as new information becomes available.
