Okawville Wurst Markt

American Legion Post 233 will hold a Wurst Markt from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at 205 N. Hanover St. in Okawville. The menu includes sausage, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, dessert and tea. $10 for adults; $5 for ages 5-12.; free for 4 and under.

Fall prevention program

Peace Givers will present a fall prevention program at 11:15 a.m. Sunday in the Fellowship Hall at Peace Lutheran Church, 1209 Royal Heights Road in Belleville. Admission is free. Stephanie Bandy, clinical director at Rehab Xcel of Fairview Heights in the speaker. A question and answer session will follow the 10- to 15-minute program. There will be free injury screenings if time allows. Food and drinks will be served by Peace Givers.

Rock ’n’ Roll Review

Scott Wattles and his Blue Suede Crew will lead a Rock ’n’ Roll Review at 7:30 p.m. March 12 at the World Shooting Complex Seasons Event Center, 1 Main Event Lane in Sparta (dinner starts at 6:30). All tickets will be sold in advance. Cost is $35 for dinner and show; $45 for VIP seating. Presented by The Gathering Place Off Broadway. Winter Dance and Auction

The Friends of the 1820 Benjamin Stephenson House will have its annual Winter Dinner and Auction on March 18 in the Leclaire Room on Lewis and Clark Community College’s Edwardsville campus. Registration, social hour and silent-auction bidding begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by an oral auction and entertainment, including a preview of a play written by Sid Denny called “Murder in Edwardsville.” Proceeds go toward home restoration and educational programs.
