Field to Fork Dinner is Saturday in Belleville
The seventh Annual Field to Fork dinner, benefiting HeartLands Conservancy, is Saturday at Bellecourt Manor in Belleville.
Field to Fork celebrates all things local with a six-course meal prepared from ingredients locally grown and sourced, often the day of and just days prior to the event.
The ingredients aren’t the only thing local at the event. The chef lineup for 2016 is remarkable and allows six amazing area chefs to show their talent, each preparing one of the courses being served.
This year’s chefs include: Tim Faltus of Bellecourt Manor (amuse, served before an appetizer), Jenny Cleveland of Cleveland-Heath in Edwardsville (appetizer), Jesse Mendica of Olive + Oak in Webster Groves, Mo., (salad), Ben Rudis of Pastaria in Clayton, Mo. (pasta), David Sandusky of Beast Craft BBQ in Belleville (main course) and Josh Charles of Element in St. Louis (dessert).
Josh Galliano of Companion Bakery in St. Louis, who lives in Okawville, will serve as special guest speaker for the event.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6:15 p.m. Entertainment will be by the Trophy Mules, plus there will be live and silent auctions.
Tickets for pre-purchase are available and reservations are required. Tickets for members of HeartLands Conservancy are $70 per person, $500 per table. Nonmember ticket prices are $90 per person or $650 per table. Tables seat eight.
